2am hunger pangs are not satiated as i polish off this minuscule bag of chocolate chip and pecan cookies weighing a measly 100g. as i let my thoughts drift to the extremely yummy ramen at central mall, i come to a conclusion that men are like ramen.
there's the common type which you only settle for when youre hungry and desperate. the men you will only date if youre lonely and deprived. (although some may choose to stay lonely and deprived)
the try-to-be-different innovative (or strangely flavoured) ramen. seemingly interesting at first, but tastes bland and disappointing, but of course, there's the aquired taste which some will take liking to. quite a phenomena in the younger crowd where the kids are still looking for their identity.
the quite yummy but lacking something which you just cant put your finger to it type. which most will try to figure out what is missing and try to change it by ie, adding condiments. alas, they will realise that they cant change it to suit their liking and they have to make do with it. very much like women getting into a relationship overlooking the problem and trying to change the man they love, but really, you cant ever change anyone. and this is when they come to a realisation, so they either stick with it or change their ramen.
finally, we have the uncommon, the paramount of great tasting ramen, always sold out quick. you only find it once in a lifetime, while some dont find it at all. so when you do, grab hold of it, order it before that lady behind you does. if you dont, well, the one that got away leaves an unforgettable taste, be prepared for regrets.
then again, the men and ramen comparison is brought to a whole new level when asthetics come in. but thats another story for another day.
for now, i shall go and sleep stop thinking of food. goodnight all!
ps-ramen preferences differ.
