you have no idea how grateful i am for the weekends. saturday shenanigans with the saturday gang.




long weekend for the next two consecutive weeks! i want to go somewhere!

OMG. ive been so busy at work that i dont even have time to clear the weeds over at littlecosm these days. sometimes, i even forget to visit the washroom until my bladder is on the verge of bursting. when i reach home, my brain automatically becomes confetti; shredded, used and useless. yesterday, i was taking my meds and i sort of forgot which pill i already took, so i just had one of each again. during the boring train ride home just now, i realised, im not sure if the laptop i use every single day at work is a macbook pro or a macbook air. i have a feeling the fever sort of destroyed some parts of my brain. i think i might need chicken essence or something more potent. like a beer.

today marks the first day i actually sat behind the wheel after getting my license quite a while back. it was traumatising for both me and my passenger. this had to be said.

the other day, the nice folks over at L'Oréal sent me their new Curl Impact Collagene mascara together with a liquid eyeliner and some colours to play with.

when i first saw the mascara, i kind of got the idea that i was in for voluminous lashes (reference from the word "collagen"- that stuff is responsible for plump and wrinkle-free skin) and curls that might possibly last for more than 24 hours (way longer than i would intend to have my mascara on).



i love how the brush is slightly wavy to that more formula gets onto your lashes per stroke. because the formula is super smooth and not clumpy at all, it might some across a wee bit wet if youre overzealous in your application (your curls might look droopy after). i recommend that you have a 2-3 second interval in between each coat to allow the mascara to dry first. Upon doing that, your curls will last a longgg time.

PROTIP: apply the mascara in a zig-zag motion to coat each and every lash evenly.

here's mine after an entire day of shopping. no smudges, no flakes. curls and volume remain.



best part? it's a ease to remove - only with the use of warm water! no more constant tugging at your delicate eye area to remove stubborn mascara!
