last week, i finally went to iluma to check out the new mall after walking past it countless of times in awe of the cyber looking building. its actually just a very empty building with too much walking space, extremely cold airconditioning and shops filled with stuff that I will never dream of possessing. the only perk there is probably the restaurants there if you cant decide on anything to eat over at bugis junction. its quite a sad fact that such a huge mall can be so boring.

anyway, talking about boring, being bored and the likes of it, i came up with a list of "what to do when youre bored." or rather, the list of, "what christine did this week when she was bored."

here's the list in no particular order:

1) indulge in too much online shopping. me likes urbanoutfitters.

2) play an obsence amount of poker on facebook.



3) read like a geek. currently: milan kundera's "immortality".
i loved him already in "the unbearable lightness of being".

"when the heart speaks, the mind finds it indecent to object."


4) tried my hand at nail art. literally. used my hands, painted my nails.

first time doing a more complicated design myself, and i realised ive got two left hands.

okay, this isnt that hard to do actually but im just not good with precision painting. heh.

i applied a clear base, then i did a little triangle in frozen yogurt, followed by another triangle in blue hawaii and added in the dots!

thank God the nail colours ettusais gave me from their new limited edition vacance nails eased the process. one coat is all i need for the colours to show and stand out!




5) starting to get the hang of it and decided to prettify my toe nails too! heh.

realised i have quite a lot of clothes i havent worn in the longest time. maybe i should do a self "tim gunn's guide to style" and clear some space. love that show btw.

nice right! heh. this was quite a rushed and impromptu shoot, and thank God i didnt have to spend time touching up my make up and blotting my face. i tend to shine rather quickly under warm lights, but not this time! because ive got a new best friend to help me keep the shine at bay.

have been real busy the past week with workworkwork and more work hence the lack of updates. anyhow, ive got a couple of pictures from a recent coporate video i did for the upcoming sentosa resorts world. im playing a japanese lady on a honeymoon with her newly wed husband.

zac and i all set for our "dinner". we managed to eat the props after. HEH.

this is my first time acting using the green screen. we had to because universal studios isnt up yet. its quite strange marvelling at empty spaces, but its quite an experience actually.
