behind the scenes:

some of you may have read this in march's issue of herworld that ettusais' zero pore pact won the best matte wear/oil control foundation. after hearing much raves about it, i was thrilled when we were given the zero pore pact to try out!

comes with a frictionless sponge for a smooth application too!

it is a good habit to wash your sponge after 4 uses (each use takes up half a side), this is to prevent contamination of the product and hence not being able to maximise it's properties, and also for hygiene purposes.

zero pore pact comes in two formulations:

oil block pact blocks out the oil! it's oil free formula helps to prevent mid-day shine,
and also absorbs excess sebum, making your makeup last even longer.

dry block pact is good for girls with normal to dehydrated skin or those who stay in the airconditioned room more than half the time.
it's moisturizing texture together with ettusais' star ingredient,
ac-control oil helps to hydrate your skin and prevent it from flaking!

i dont usually apply foundation unless the occasion calls for it. premakeup base and a concealer or loose powder is enough, and of course facial blotters throughout the day. after trying out the zero pore pact for the first time, i forgot to even blot my face come mid-noon because there wasn't even a need to!

i would reccommend applying a thin layer to start off first before applying more (if needed). maybe im not used to applying foundation on my own, but i find that going over the same spot twice makes my foundation look too heavy.

the coverage is fantastic, so one layer is actually pretty sufficient. with such good coverage, you dont even need a lot, a little goes a long way.

now, for a really pore-fect look, introducing..

the sheer yellow tone helps to neutralise redness while the lucent tone brightens up your skin!

im using the one with the lucent tone around the nose and cheek areas. i like the fact that it doesnt feel sticky upon application and it allows your makeup to glide easily over your skin. complexion appears brighter as it is smoother and more even with less visible pores.
