a week back jayne and i went to get our nails done, courtesy of WINK NAILS@ALT and ettusais. WINK NAILS are the first in Singapore all the way from Japan, offering soft gel nails that lasts 3-4 weeks instead of the conventional 2-3 weeks. also, the soak off time is only a mere 5-10mins with zero nail damage.

here's the result! i did a light pink colour gradient, with peacock design on alternate nails, together with stones and hologram for a blinged up effect.

i love how glossy it looks, and best of all, sturdy. ive had chicken wings twice and my nails do not chip and neither will the stones fall!

they also feel natural so it doesnt hinder my daily chores. love them! thanks ettusais and WINK NAIL.

oh, i just realised i totally forgot to post last wednesday's liberation up, they were saved as draft sitting nicely waiting to see the glow of the internet's rays.

I will not stop buying accessories, all sorts. in fact i think i spend most of my money on them.

i love the intense shade of blue tons! it was extremely sweet of her to also send me this top. i love comfy soft shirts! (if you read of one my wednesday liberations) its an obsession, one can never have enough sheer white shirts.

why i liked it: who doesnt have blackheads? it's tedious to extract blackheads (or vacuum it out, there's one blackhead vacuum by philips) and then cleanse and apply your serums. an all-in-one will save me much time!

im doing a giveaway today!! its always good to feel like santa (minus the pot belly and beard). i would like to call this giveaway, "Beauty SOS".

when i was a pubescent teen, i first started experiencing shine. not the good kind of magical glow but greasy kind of unattractive shine on the face. and for the first time, i also noticed my pores. plus, that was the stage in everyone's life where you actually started looking at the opposite sex, right? okay, maybe you started even earlier, i wouldnt know.

it was also the first time in my life i had a pimple, and another one a few days after. they were almost symmetrical, i looked like a dork. my mom told me not to worry and i will soon outgrow puberty and pimples. she was half right, i never did grow any taller afterwards (not that i grew a whole lot anyway) but the shine was here to stay. whoever said highschool never ends was right, those zits will always keep on coming back.

at that point of time, i wished there was a product in the market that could get rid of all the mid day shine once and for all. perhaps a spray of some sort that would cause the oil on the surface of your skin to evaporate. obviously that wasnt going to happen, scientifically speaking. BUT this product that ettusais just launched totally made me remember my silly wish, its almost as good and it works pretty much like how i wished it would!


The Aqua Splash Oil Block is a spray that contains sebum absorbing powder that mattifies greasy skin anytime and anywhere. it also inhibits further sebum secretion. sounds exactly like what i dreamed of right? only more realistic. hur.

f you have shine, you are bound to have visible pores. idk how many times have i said this but they are an evil couple that comes together in a pair. hence, ettusais also came up with the zero pore pact, a revamped version of their popular one (pink in colour if youve seen it before). it smoothens the surface of your pores so that your makeup glides easily over. not sure about you but im very particular about the size of my pores and this work pretty good for me.
